The Formula 242 is famous for it's strong, high quality construction It's 24 degree dead-rise hull gives it an extremely smooth and comfortable ride with flawless handling at any speed.
This is the rare and desirable combination of the bigger, roomy cockpit of the SS model (vs the LS) with the large 502 cubic inch Mercruiser Magnum engine, Bravo drive and new SS Mirage prop giving speeds over 60 mph.
The boat is fully equipped and Original, not modified. It has never had bottom paint.
This freshwater boat is in extraordinary condition. The hull, upholstery and interior are all excellent. Paint is good but some small scratches. The engine has low hours and the cylinder heads were redone this June as were the alternator, trim pump and an all new water pump and new exhaust manifolds. The Holly 800 cfm double pumper carb was just rebuilt. Risers are as new.
It has new gauges and new vinyl cockpit upholstery using original factory vinyl.
